Robert J. Jamieson:
Chairman of the Board
Robert has over 40 years of business experience and is the Founder and past President and CEO of New Horizons Caregivers Group.  He has been the guiding force behind NHCG's dedicated efforts to help low-income families with young children.  Teaching parents to be involved with their children's education, attendance and academic performance is a priority.  Robert also served as an Instructor for The Dale Carnegie Courses and as an Instructor at Shoreline Community College of Extension Courses in Business and Management Education.  As the Chairman of the Board for New Horizons Caregivers Group, Robert is dedicated to service, and in particular those people who care for others.

Cathy Louise Jamieson:
Executive Director

Cathy has a Degree in Nutrition and Fitness, and over the last 20 years has faciliated, lectured and taught fitness, stress management classes and retreats. Cathy is the Executive Director for NHCG.  She handles all adminstrative duties, coordinates free food pick ups/deliveries/events that serve the many low-income families and nonprofit agencies served by NHCG.  Cathy listens and encourages all she meets to live a life of balance, positive attitude, proper health goals with integrity and respect for all.

Terri Sena:
Secretary

Terri holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public & Community Service and is a licensed counselor.  She teaches classes in self-improvement, goal-setting and co-facilitates retreats.  Terri is trained in counseling and enjoys helping women in recovery.  Terri is also on the Advisory Board of the Mid-Valley Recovery Center in El Monte.  Terri is New Horizons Caregivers Group's Board and Corporate Secretary.

Terry Hartshorne:
Treasurer
Terry has credentials in School Business Management and an Associate Arts Degree in Accounting.  Terry is employed as the Principal Accountant for Mountain View School District.  As a Caregiver Terry worked as a Volunteer at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital for 14 years.  She now assists elderly friends with chores that they can no longer do for themselves.

Roy L. Stephens: Businessman:
Board Financial Advisor
                                                                                  
Roy is an entrepreneur/businessman and serves on the Board of Directors of TDG Aerospace Incorporated and is a Trustee on a number of Foundations.  His background is in Finance and Management and serves as Financial Advisor to NHCG.  Roy is currently an active pilot and served in the United States Air Force piloting jets in the Vietnam War.

Marsha Marks Godwin:

Marsha has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. She has 31 years of Management Training with the General Electric Company.  She has mentored young people moving up in the GE Corporation.  Marsha has been an active member in the Hacienda Heights Improvement Association, has volunteered at the Whittier Red Cross and provided support to women in shelters through the Glendora Women's Club.  Marsha currently helps with NHCG's FIESTA Program for Workman Elementary School in La Puente.

Kyle Hording:
BA - University of Redlands, University of La Verne, Juris Doctor - 1984, University of Notre Dame, CSSC Designation.
Member State Bar of California, Los Angeles County Bar Association, American Bar Association, National Structured Settlement Trade Association

Kyle has been active in the structured settlement industry for 24 years.  She has given numerous presentations for in-service training programs for casualty insurance companies and self-insureds.  Served nation wide as guest lecturer for the American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the State Bar of California, and the National Structured Settlement Trade Association.  Board member and past President of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association.  She has authored many advocate law books.

Kyle has volunteered as a delegate to the California State Bar Association, co-authored the prototype for the Disaster Relief manual used nationally in connection with providing free legal services for FEMA disaster centers, and provided assistance to the homeless through the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

Mary Skavinski:
Mary was a middle school teacher for 22 years and a middle school counselor for 23 years.  She is now retired. Mary volunteered for the 1960's Hollywood Help Line (hot line) especially with Viet Nam Vets.

In the 1970's Maclaren Children's Center co-leading group sessions, and is Hospice trained.  In the 1980's Mary was on the Board of Directors of Y.W.C.A. of San Gabriel Valley working with Women's Shelter (WINGS).  She has been trained in Abuse/Shelter and worked on abuse hot lines.  She is trained CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) working with court , investigating foster placement and advocate for foster care children at Edelman Children's Court, L.A. County.   Mary has served at Auxilary of Citrus Valley Medical Center Surgery Waiting Room. as a volunteer.  Mary is currently taking training for Ombudsman Program and will be assigned a nursing home.  She will investigate patient complaints (patient advocate) and administer documents (living will ,etc) .


Sarita Vaswani Singh:
Businesswoman

Sarita is a supervisor and financial planner for Banco Popular in Hacienda Heights, CA.  She is a consistent volunteer for the East San Gabriel Homeless Coalition preparing and serving food to the homeless.  Sarita was a partner in the clothing manufacturing business.  Through her husbands continued business associations in the clothing industry, Sarita consistently donates to and supports many needy organizations.
