Mission:  New Horizons Caregivers Group is dedicated to providing free food, clothing, and other supportive essential necessities of life to those in need.

NHCG offers two programs.  The first offered through NHCG is to the "Service 2 Service" (S2S) Program.  The  S2S program provides small non-profit caregiving organizations and agencies with free grocery and supportive products which helps reduce their expenditures.  S2S program delivers products which helps them due to their limited personnel and stressed budgets.  These are caregiving groups that in turn support handicapped, the homeless, those in drug and alcohol rehabilitation, crisis centers, foster homes and others in need of help within the community.

The second program offered by NCHG is "FIESTA" (Family Incentives Equals Students Taking Action).  The FIESTA provides Title I Low-Income School Families with free grocery items in exchange for a commitment to help their children achieve perfect attendance and to excel in school.  On any given Saturday, NHCG donates 50,000 lbs. of free grocery prodcuts to be distributed through the school.  This brings the teachers and family members together in an uplifting environment.  Results have proven that getting parents involved, giving free products which help with family budgets has a very positive impact for the children, attendance, grades and overall attitude about learning.

Through its outreach programs NHCG nourishes a better understanding of other services available within the community, and how Parents, Teachers and Caregivers in their own special way can better serve and support each other to strengthen the fiber of the community.

What we do:

New Horizons Caregivers Group brings additional support the low-income and  non-profit organizations by acting as a point of collection for food and other necessary essentials.  By way of it's 501(c)(3) status, NHCG acts as a point of distribution to the community through these organizations which in turn donate food and other products directly to those in need.

As each of these Caregiving organizations is dedicated to service in their communities, there is a need to help many of them find the resources to support their work.  A number of these organization find it challenging to provide sufficient food and other goods to support the ever increasing numbers of people requesting help.  Concentration on the valuable services these Caregivers provide to those in need, leaves them short handed in the actual pursuit of the free groceries and other essential goods that are so desperately needed.

In summary, New Horizons Caregivers Group provides free food, goods, school supplies to the low-income. As a goal for the future, NHCG want to bring these pillars of the community together to share information and learn how they can work together and help each other.  The more we understand what others are doing in the community, the better we can serve humanity.
